Tasmanian Devils are the size of a small dog, but stocky and muscular. They are the largest carnivorous marsupial in the world after the extinction of the Thylacine, or Tasmanian Tiger, in 1936. They have black fur, release a pungent odour when they're stressed, and they possess an extremely loud screech. (Source: Wikipedia)

Since the late 1990s, devil facial tumour disease has reduced the devil population significantly and now threatens the survival of the species. In May 2009 the Tasmanian Devil was declared to be endangered, which is why Conservation Parks like this exist -- to keep the species healthy and thriving.
