This drive will also give you the opportunity to explore the beautiful cities of Banff and Jasper and the imitable beauty of Lake Louise. You can explore Vermillion Lakes in Banff National Park or check out the view from the summit of Sulphur Mountain. In Jasper you won't want to miss the Athabasca Falls, River and Glacier after which drive out to Lake Louise where you can hike, canoe or swim. On your trip back to Calgary you may want to make a stop at the beautiful Yoho National Park.

Lac le Jeune Provincial Park There are 144 camping sites at Lac le Jeune, including vehicle accessible ones. These sites are open April to October and a fee is charged from May to September. Reservations can only be made from May to September. The park is accessible during the winter months for activities like cross country skiing if the weather permits.
