Kaiwaka Campervan Hire Holiday
Kaiwaka is a quirky country town with a big heart. By day its home to the finest Italian Bakery in the north, the eccentric fairytale-like turrets of the organically-minded Café Eutopia, and the renowned Kaiwaka Cheese Shop whose SH1 signage proclaims that you’d better stop, as this is “the last cheese for miles”.
At night Kaiwaka is aglow with angels, sailing ships, and all manner of easy-to-depict shapes the kids will love to see: scissors atop the hairdressers, a post box at the post shop, and a fireman’s ladder – just to name a few.
Kaiwaka was settled by Europeans in 1859 upon on an ancient Maori portage route linking the east and west coasts; the same pathway that leads to Mangawhai and the Kaipara today.
There are no Kaiwaka Campervan Hire depots to our knowledge, with most customers preferring to hire campervans in Auckland (which has a wide range of choice) or rent campervans in Whangarei (which has a limited number of campervan rental vehicles on offer).
